 What is Roundtable?

The BSA's Roundtable training meetings are a monthly in-service training meeting and serve a multi-pronged purpose. The allusion to Camelot's roundtable conjures up images of errant knights assembling to discuss the problems of the people (Scouts) they serve.

Roundtable is an opportunity for all Scouters to:

  •  Learn more about upcoming activities
  •  Share program and planning ideas
  •  Interact with fellow Scouters who share the enthusiasm for the program

Q: Should I bring anything?
A: Yes, a willingness to participate and learn.  Although not required, refreshments to share are always welcomed.  You earn 'Scout Bucks' for bringing something as well.

Q: What are 'Scout Bucks'?
A:
Just a simple way to recognize your attendance during the year.  Scout Bucks are awarded for each meeting you attend and you use the money in December at the annual Roundtable Auction.
